John Hamilton is an effective financial executive with a career-long track record of managing the finances of companies across multiple industries, including healthcare, IT and manufacturing. At EquiPro, John works closely with the leadership of each company to create innovative internal systems and constantly improve financial efficiency and growth.

John’s experience includes serving as CFO of several enterprises backed by venture capital and owned by private equity groups, including a private equity group in the manufacturing and distribution business that held 19 companies at its peak. He also spent over a decade in executive roles at a pharmaceutical business and led financial operations for an aerospace company and Boston-based technology company.

He joined EquiPro after serving as managing director of Butler Snow Advisory. John is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where he studied accounting. He also received his master of business administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He lives in Birmingham, Ala., with his wife, Joelle, and three daughters.
